CALL FOR ABSTRACTS (DEADLINE: OCTOBER 15, 1999)
SSPD will sponsor an evening paper session (including meeting and
social hour) at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience
(October 23-28) in Miami Beach. This session is scheduled for Tuesday,
October 26 from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. We will meet at the Miami Beach
Convention Center in Room D234. Snacks and a drink will be provided
for all attendees and there will be a cash bar. There is no fee
for attending the session, but members must be current on their
dues for 1999 (or pay dues at the door). The deadline for receipt
of abstracts for this session has been extended until October 15.
Please restrict abstracts to a maximum of 1/2 page, single-spaced,
12-pt type. The time allotted for each presentation will depend
upon how many presentations are accepted; in any event no less than
15 minutes will be allowed for each speaker. Send all abstracts
for the SSPD meeting in Miami Beach to Jenny Wiley. Abstracts may
be sent as attachments to an e-mail message, if desired. Additional
